Romantic Glowing Shells

Create bergamot-scented candles that will glow all evening. Thoroughly rinse seashells and add tea lights, removing outer tins. Melt paraffin wax and carefully fill seashells. Add 2 or 3 drops of bergamot essential oil to the wax, while it is still soft and melted. The lovely fragrance will rise with the heat of the flame. Aromatherapy essential oils have been used for centuries as a holistic healing remedy for relief of stress-related disorders. Because your life today is full of stress and tension, you need a way to turn your home into a place of calm and serenity. Aromatherapy essential oils offer you this natural treatment and make your home smell wonderful in the process. Essential oils are herbal extracts which come from various parts of trees, flowers, and plants. There is an aromatherapy essential oil that will provide a natural remedy for almost any ailment, especially those associated with stress and depression.  Using these scented, natural oils is a way to bring holistic healing into your life. These oils can increase the benefits of medicines you are already taking. They are a natural, pure way to amplify your medications and maybe be able to cut down on them. For example, lavender essential oil is used to treat headaches, insomnia, muscular pains, indigestion, flu, bronchitis and high blood pressure.  Bergamot essential oil has a fresh citrus scent and is known to be calming and refreshing. Bergamot is cooling and purifying and helps to sharpen the senses. Chamomile essential oil is distilled from the tops of a daisy-like flower and has a fruity scent which has a very calming effect. Chamomile also speeds up healing and calms inflammations. Vetiver essential oil helps relieve insomnia and stress-related symptoms. Vetiver has a sweet molasses fragrance. Rosemary essential oil is used for hair care and as an inhalant and decongestant, and its fragrance is a fresh camphor-like scent.  Grapefruit essential oil is an extract of the fresh peel of the fruit. It imparts astringent and toning properties and is used for its refreshing, uplifting effects. Lemon essential oil is an extract from the outer peel of the fresh fruit. The revitalizing and cheery fragrance helps brighten spirits and relieve mental fatigue. The scented oil is a therapy for the skin because it improves and invigorates circulation and tightens pores. Lemongrass essential oil has a fresh, lemony fragrance and is prized for its relaxing and uplifting qualities. Lemongrass essential oil is used to treat stress and poor circulation when used in massage therapy.
