In the language of herbs, basil represents “love” and “good wishes.” Express these thoughts to a friend by sending a delightful note card containing a pressed basil leaf. Weight a fresh basil leaf between two pieces of tissue paper until it is dry. Place it in a glassine or waxed paper envelope. Insert the enclosed leaf in a note card along with your message.
