Fragrance oils are synthetically compounded, and they should not be confused with 100% natural essential oils used in aromatherapy. Our fragrance oils are produced using the latest technology including mass spectroscopy, gas chromatography, simulated critical fluid extraction, and rotary vapor extraction methods. We do not add any artificial coloring or additives to our fragrance oils. They are packaged in HDPE plastic bottles for lighter shipping and lower cost. They range in color from clear to dark brown, with a few being light blue to pink. Some oils may discolor your finished product, particularly those with vanilla or chocolate. Please keep this in mind when adding dyes, and make any necessary adjustments to ensure a satisfactory result. Due to varying fragrance compositions, some oils may cause clouding in transparent products such as glycerin soap or shower gel. Please test oils in your products first to determine the best result. We are not responsible for finished product that has not been tested first. All fragrance oil sales are final. If you are trying to get the aromatic benefits of aromatherapy, the fragrance oils are less expensive and will work just as well in aroma lamps as essential oils.
