In ancient times, rosemary was thought to preserve youth. It was also known as the herb of fidelity, love, friendship and remembrance. The essential oil has a fresh camphor-like scent and is a popular ingredient in soaps, perfumes and household products. It is recommended for hair care and as an inhalant and decongestant. Rosemary is also used for culinary purposes. Only small amounts of this concentrated oil are needed to gain beneficial results.
